Yoga for Grief

Grief comes in many forms:

  • losing a loved one

  • ending a marriage or long term-relationship, including platonic friendships

  • voluntary or involuntary separation from a job

  • a geographic move

  • releasing the idea of the life you planned versus the one that’s unfolding before you

No matter the source of your grief, there is still deep sorrow for your experience. Grief tends to take up space in our body, calling our attention to it by way of pain, dis-ease, mental frustration, challenging thoughts, and heartbreak.

Using the healing properties of yoga, which include asana (poses and movement), pranayama, self reflection, and meditation, I will guide you to source your tools to carefully navigate your experience with your grief.

You can participate in a one-time session or select a 4 or 7 session package to support your journey.

Individual and Small Group Yoga

The best way to start the day is with the breath. I offer custom classes for individuals and small groups. Whether its a group of friends or for your team, my 60-90 minute sessions include movement and breath work to jump start your day or settle down and take a much needed break . Class flows can be tailored to your body’s needs and modified as needed. Yoga is for every BODY.

Domestic & International Retreats

Regardless of how we spend our time, the work we do can be taxing on the mind and body. Invite me to your workplace retreat and I can offer topic/issue specific workshops and classes to reinvigorate your team, make space for more, and help them mentally and emotionally recommit to the work. Retreats can be domestic or aboard!
